Business founded in Hobart, Tasmania. Created by Mr Richard Saul & family.
Initially driven by the need to viably utilize an unwanted deep water by-catch material.
The initial commercial product was 'crude shark liver oil' containing squalene.
Expert technical and analytical support was provided by some of Australia's best scientific minds in the field of marine lipids, including dedicated staff at Novost & CSIRO.
1996
Priority given to the development of ethical export markets, with capable assistance of excellent staff at the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade).
1998
Construction of dedicated specialty food-grade extraction, processing and refining facility in Melbourne, Victoria.
2010
Facility expansion and upgrade.
2011 - 2021
Ongoing production and sales of fully refined, high purity Squalene and D.A.G.E. for human consumption.
All products are presented in bulk, wholesale form purposed for direct soft gel encapsulation.
